My pottery exists at the intersection where old world tradition meets speculative imagination. A place where the echoes of ancient craftsmanship resonate with visions of distant futures. Deeply rooted in time-honored ceramic techniques, my work draws inspiration from the tactile, earthy beauty of ancient vessels and traditional forms. Yet, layered over this foundation is a lens of modern mythology: the aesthetics of science fiction and fantasy, and the narrative power of pop culture.

I am fascinated by how objects can simultaneously evoke both memory and possibility. Each piece I create becomes a dialogue between eras. A relic from an imagined past, or perhaps a functional artifact from a far-off world yet to come. Classical silhouettes are reimagined and often confronted by different temporalities, sometimes adorned with modern hardware.

In this way, my ceramics embody a paradox: an eye turned toward the past, and another fixed on the future. I strive to honour the legacy of traditional pottery, while inviting viewers to see these forms anew…as part of a narrative that stretches beyond time, into realms of wonder and imagination.
